PICK REMIT BY THE WORLD BANK
World Bank is an international financial institution that provides financial and technical solutions for developing countries. World bank is not technically a bank but rather a unique partnership to reduce poverty and support developing countries.
World Bank which is headquartered in Washington,D.C., reached out to Mobomo in 2014 in hopes of creating an app that would allow people to find locations where they can send money to a different country at the touch of a fingertip. We created Pick Remit which is an API driven application that users can search for remittance prices based on users’ location. We were able to create a dashboard for firms so that they could load and push data out to the users. We also developed the option to integrate firms’ APIs to automatically get their information without the need of manual input.
